Description
The Educational Technology Specialist will develop and deliver professional development opportunities, resources or tools that support outside educational entities, including LIU personnel in the effective integration of educational technology. Products and services provided will focus on professional growth and development, consultation and coaching, student services and community partnership opportunities that are based on current and future customer needs.
Qualifications
Educational
Experience
A minimum of three years of classroom teaching experience, including significant experience in instructional technology integration and delivery of professional development.
Coaching and training experience, desired.
Additional qualifications
Strong customer services skills and the ability to communicate effectively both as a trainer and as a team member are necessary.
Ability to plan, create and deliver professional learning events is necessary.
