National Heritage Academies (NHA) is seeking full-time regional teachers. These regional teachers provide instruction on interim assignments in subjects and schools of high needs located in East Michigan . We are in search of individuals who have certification in Elementary, Middle School Math, Middle School Science or Special Education.

Your Role
NHA's regional teacher program is called Teach Force. This program stems from NHA's commitment to having high quality educators in every classroom. It is important to start and continue the school year fully staffed, not only for the teams of teachers in the building but also for every child and parent that chooses a National Heritage Academies school. Therefore; we are looking for teachers interested in an opportunity to make a difference in urban areas that have unforeseeable vacancies arise.
As a Teach Force teacher, you are placed in temporary assignments throughout the school year while the search continues for a permanent placement. While on assignment, you will be receiving a premium compensation package . You will have the opportunity to work in challenging environments with the reward of impacting children's lives across East Michigan. With our results driven curriculum and community of committed educators, you will be set up for success at every school you have the opportunity to work. This role is meant for experienced teachers to provide impact in schools that need extra help and support, while at the same time growing their teaching and leadership skills.

Requirements

• Qualified candidates must hold a valid teacher certificate in Michigan.
  
• Desired content areas include Math, Science, Special Education, or Elementary.
  
• NHA prefers candidates for Teach Force that have 3 years of experience working with at-risk students in an urban environment and proven effective teaching.
