Job Description:
The Teacher's Assistant provides a structured learning experience and atmosphere in the classroom(s) assigned. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: tutor classes, cover in teacher's absence and provide structured learning experience with a commitment to agency's strategic principles. This position is working with our Science Teacher and within our Science classroom. Experience in Science is preferred, passion for science and the desire to educate children is required.
Job Qualifications:
Requires Associates Degree in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, Special Education or CTA Credential; or High School with several years of education experience. Must have the ability to obtain TA Certification within six months of employment. We will consider candidates without Teacher's Assistant Certification as Teacher's Aides.
