Birmingham Public Schools, Birmingham, Michigan, announces that they are conducting a search for a new Superintendent of Schools. Birmingham Public Schools is a district of over 8,000 students that includes nine municipalities from Southfield to Birmingham and from Troy to West Bloomfield. The district has eight elementary schools, two middle schools, two high schools, a district-wide 3-8 grade school of choice, an alternative high school and expansive early childhood and adult education programming.

Dr. James Morse and Mrs. Alena Zachery-Ross will begin reviewing applications in September. Applications will be confidential until a slate is presented to the Board on Nov. 20, 2018. The Board anticipates naming a Superintendent by December, 2018 with a starting date of January 1, 2019. Salary and benefits are attractive and will be regionally competitive.
