Additional Job Information: Qualifications
---Must meet minimum qualifications for provisional appointment:
A) Master?s degree in education or related field and Special Education Certification and certified or trained in suicide prevention; with two years experience creating Behavior Intervention Programs, developing assessment of student needs through Functional Behavior Assessment, teaching coping skills and alternative behavior.
B) Bachelor?s degree in education or related field and Special Education Certification and certified or trained in suicide prevention; with three years experience creating Behavior Intervention Programs, developing assessment of student needs through Functional Behavior Assessment, teaching coping skills and alternative behaviors;
C) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B)
NOTE: Possession of Board Certified Analyst License may be considered as a substitute for Teacher Certification.

Essential knowledge, skills and abilities:
---Strong organizational and communication skills.
---Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
---Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Word.

Type of License or certificate required: NYS Teacher Certification in Career & Technical Education, Business & Marketing Education or Technology Education and Work Based Learning extension.
