PRINCIPAL
Bronx location
St Dominic’s School is dedicated to meeting the academic and social-emotional needs of the children in our care by providing a therapeutic learning environment. Our position in the Bronx is located at the Simon Stock Preschool Annex program located at 2195 Valentine Avenue in the Bronx.
The Principal will report directly to the Executive Vice President of Programs and Business Affairs. He/she will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and monitoring of the school and establish a clear focus on attaining program excellence.
Master's degree in Special Education or a related field and five years of experience working in Special Education. New York State Special Education Certification (preferred) and one of the following certifications are required: New York State School Administrator and Supervisor (SAS) Certificate or New York State School District Administrator (SDA) Certificate or New York State School Building Leader (SBL) Certificate or New York State School District Leader (SDL) Certificate. Five years of supervisory experience preferred.
