JOB TITLE: BLENDED LEARNING TECHNICIAN, eLearning
REPORTS TO: SUPERVISOR, eLEARNING
DEFINTION: Under the direction of the eLearning supervisor, supports the eLearning program and clients with registration, orientation and technical support issues. Acts as a liaison and periodic trouble-shooter to ensure timely resolutions to technology issues that impact instruction in the eLearning program.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Training and Experience:
Graduation from a four year accredited college or university preferred.
Post-secondary coursework in instruction, information technology, or management required.
Licenses and Certificates:
Possession of a Maryland Advanced Professional Certificate is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently travel among the school environment/campus; occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds; consistently participate in evening activities
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Requires the ability to commit two evenings per week for no less than 4 hours each evening or for each Saturday during the school year for no less than 4 hours in the morning to the EDLP; may include additional pre-approved hours for relevant tasks and professional learning.

- Transfer student progress data in digital courses.
- Facilitates blended courses in the EDLP, EYLP, and SPARC sessions.
- Enrolls co-teachers in digital courses.
- Manages operational functions of the eLearning Technical Support Team
- Oversees the orientation and tech support sessions for eLearning students and families.
- Monitors technical assistance requests to identify, troubleshoot and communicate emerging support trends and solutions.
- Identifies and coordinates training needs for eLearning Technical Support Team.
- Prepares reports when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Knowledge of the principles and practices of pedagogy with an emphasis on blended learning.
- Knowledge, skill, and successful experience in the use and analysis of school performance data.
- Outstanding oral and written communications skills.
- Possession of technology competency (e.g., database, internet, spreadsheet, word processing, and related applications); skill and experience in data analysis and application.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to properly maintain confidential information.
