La Petite Academy in Richmond, CA is hiring!We are currently seeking a Full-time Cookto join us at our child care center located at 3891 Lakeside Dr.
Our Cooks:

• Create home-style, nutritional meal plans in the boundaries of their school's budget, as well as state and federal requirements.
• Prepare and serve nutritious and delicious meals and snacks for children and staff.
• Maintain inventory of food and supplies and order more when needed.
• Have countless advancement opportunities through our on-going training and expansive network of centers and brands.

We are most interested in talking to applicants that have:

• 6 months of experience in cooking and/or food preparation for multiple individuals, preferably in a childcare facility
• An understanding of all current state and local regulations
• Helpful to have some knowledge or background with the California State Food Program. Applicant must be organized and able to work with a large group of people. Also, solid math skills are a must.
• Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work
• A High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
