Applicants must have at least a bachelor’s degree and teaching qualification such as a post graduate certificate in education, masters in education or bachelors of education. Our jobs are not teaching english as a foreign language, and a tefl certificate alone is not sufficient teacher training.

This American curriculum school group is looking for an engaging and energetic selection of educators to join their team for the next academic year. The preferred nationality to reflect the school curriculum and parental expectation is North American and Canadian but others will be considered. The right personality is a prime consideration embracing a willingness to work in a local environment in which most of the children speak English as a second language and in which cultural sensitivity is a must.

 

Elementary teachers must have a Bachelors of Elementary Education or equivalent education related degree; one year Bachelor of Educations will be approved.

 

The school is located on two campuses and offers an American-style education for students from pre-school to Grade 12. 99% of students are local Kuwaiti nationals and from Grade 1 the children are separated by gender. Class sizes average 24 throughout the school. The school surrounds a three storey central playground with bright and spacious classrooms that are colourfully decorated and incorporate facilities for art, ICT, science laboratories, computer suites and libraries. There is also a 25m swimming pool, gymnasium and several outdoor areas and canteens.The school is fully accredited by CIS and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA).
