Plans, assigns, and manages the work of the Assistive Technology Services (ATS) team in the development and implementation of assistive technology services and divisionwide instructional technology-related operations for students with disabilities; selects, supervises, and evaluates administrative, instructional, and support staff; develops and implements annual department technology plans; and oversees computer assisted instruction, augmentative and alternative communication, adapted access, and instructional software training and support for students with disabilities.

Qualifications:
Postgraduate Professional License with endorsements in appropriate special education specialty with administration and supervision preK-12 endorsement preferred, plus six years of progressively more responsible teaching, supervisory, or administrative experience in special education field of specialization or equivalent education and experience; thorough knowledge of methods, materials, practices, procedures, and programs of the special education field to which assigned; knowledge of related laws, regulations, and policies; ability to plan, manage, and supervise programs and personnel; ability to plan and conduct in-service and professional development activities; excellent human relations and supervisory skills; and ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
