Our Junior Kindergarten Lead Teachers...

• Are assigned to the Junior Kindergarten classroom
• Are responsible for curriculum implementation including lesson planning and child assessment
• Plan and implement activities designed to promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children under their care.
• Keep parents informed of the progress of their child using provided Junior K reports.
• Will be expected to open and close the Junior Kindergarten program each day

We are most interested in talking to applicants that have:

• Experience working in a licensed childcare facility or elementary school program, creating lesson plans and supervising a classroom
• BA or AA in Early Childhood education or Elementary Education, or child development or a CDA
• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience
• At least two years of experience
• Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work
• Must be at least 18 years of age
