The Calumet School District is seeking an individual to fill a Business Office Coordinator position for the 2018-2019 school year.
Job Summary:
Carries major responsibilities in supporting the Business Office by:
Processing bi-weekly payroll including timesheets, deductions, liabilities and distribution
Maintaining files
Prepares written letters, memos
Data gathering for reports and claims for business office and payroll
Assists with specific accounting duties
Assists with student registration
Maintains integrity of confidential information
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance preferred. Candidates must have demonstrated experienced in School Business Office and payroll experience. Should possess a minimum 2 years successful experience in bookkeeping. A proven record of excellent organizational, and ability to respond to oral and written directions; ability to work independently and efficiently; and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Must be computer literate and skilled in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Working Conditions:
The work year for this position is 12 months. Salary is based on market comparisons as determined by the Superintendent. The District offers excellent fringe benefits, including life, health and dental insurance.
