Winkelman Elementary School is looking for a dynamic, collaborative, and visionary Library Media Specialist to work with an amazing, diverse group of students as well as a supportive community and committed staff. This position is a good match for an individual looking to promote inquiry, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity not just in the library media center, but in the wider school community. Candidates should have elementary school experience, preferably as a classroom teacher, with deep knowledge of teaching and learning. Successful candidates will also have extensive experience with the use of technology to support instruction. The Winkelman Library Media Specialist will work closely with teachers, support staff, coaches, and technology specialists to design instructional programs to meet the needs of students in the building.
