Teacher's Assistant - Nature's Nursery

Status: Regular Full Time (40 hrs/wk)
Job Responsibilities:
Nature's Nursery is seeking a Teacher's Assistant. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: following the direction of the teacher's in preparing and implementing activities for all, or part, of the class, working collaboratively with Nature Based Program Facilitator and other Nature's Nursery Staff to utilize the farm, garden,wildlife, horse barn, dog program, pool, and other areas of the Green Chimneys campus, actively participate with and supervise the children at all times, demonstrate the ability to make decisions based on the urgency of a situation and in accordance with the agency's policies and procedures and those of OCFS and assist the director and other staff to maintain proper coverage, working overtime, if necessary. We are hiring for a full time, 40 hour/week Teacher Assistant.
Job Qualifications:
A High School Diploma is required. Must be 18 or older.
