IDEA assistant principals of instruction (APIs) are instructional leaders who coach and develop the teachers at their school to achieve ambitious goals with students. They monitor the progress of special population students to ensure all students are on-track for college. They are also responsible for both reactive and proactive discipline and strategy to help students persist at IDEA year after year.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Proven track record of personally achieving success and of leading others
• At least three years of full-time teaching experience
• Teacher leadership or administrative experience
