Requirements: EDUCATION: Masters Degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling or closely related area
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE: L5 Liscense by state of Georgia on School Pyschology
WORK EXPERIENCE: Two to three years in related field
PERFERRED EXPERIENCE: Psychological Evaluations experience.
Compensation: SALARY GRADE: IS4-7
SALARY RANGE: $47, 443-$94, 720
WORK DAYS: 211
FLSA Status: Exempt

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Administers psychological assessments by interviewing and evaluating students, and facilitating a wide-variety of testing strategies
- Analyzes and synthesizes data to prepare written reports to include diagnostic decisions and recommendations
- Consults with teachers, parents, administrators, student support teams and students to improve the student's success in school
- Makes recommendations to assist with planning and implementation of prescriptive programs
- Plans and directs crisis intervention and professional development classes
- Provides student counseling as necessary
- Administer and/or support the state and local standardized testing process and policies
