Essential Functions and Objectives:

Visual Arts Job Description

- Provides instruction in Visual Arts following DPS standards-based curriculum. Teaches students to recognize and use visual arts as a form of creativity and communication. Helps students explore the application of materials, tools, techniques, technologies, and processes; and relate visual arts to various historical and cultural traditions. Previous experience and knowledge of various arts media, elements and application of art, principals of design, sensory and expressive features preferred.

Education equivalent experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
