    GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
    The Cincinnati Public Schools invites applications for the position of Assistant School Community Coordinator (Unclassified Civil Service) for athletic operations for Cincinnati Public Schools located at Woodward school. This position reports to the Athletics Manager. The successful candidate shall have the training, skills and ability necessary to:

    • Be a dependable and results-driven member of a very large, coed, public school district working efficiently and effectively with staff, faculty, administrators, parents, and students from all member schools.
    • Work evenings and weekends in addition to daytime hours during the week.
    • Be knowledgeable, experienced, and capable in event and game management from pre-contest through post-contest.
    • Be knowledgeable, experienced, and capable in facility management over several unique campuses.
    • Be capable of managing multiple demands and responsibilities at any one time.
    • Be knowledgeable, experienced, and capable of establishing and maintaining an inventory and storage system for all athletics equipment and supplies.
    • Be knowledgeable, experienced, and capable of using athletic scheduling software.
    • Be capable and trustworthy in the handling significant sums of money and maintaining all confidentialities that arise in the operation of an athletic program.
    • Be capable of responding to the various day-to-day requests of supervisors.
    • Be capable of handling any request associated with the operation of a high school and junior high athletic program and campus facility management.
    • Be capable of handling other duties as assigned.
    • Capable of managing a group of student interns to assist with athletic department operations.
    • Prepared and capable of assisting in the management of the Cincinnati Metro Athletic Conference and their daily operations.
    • Capable of event management and execution as it pertains to different sports and fundraisers within the district.
    • Be able to proactively search for new athletic opportunities for the district in regards to expansion of sports, education, fundraising, and more.
    • Be responsible for social media strategy across a number of different platforms in regards to marketing athletics and student athletes.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree in sport administration or a related field.

    3-5 years of demonstrated knowledge and experience with the operation of high school and junior high athletic programs and facility management.

    EMPLOYMENT PROVISIONS

    Salary Range: Starting salary $15.53 per hour

    Service Period: 52 weeks
