SALARY RANGE IS $70,719 - $97,927. YEARLY SALARY IS BASED ON QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES, AND LIKE EXPERIENCE


Job Summary:
  • The Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment Coordinator will work under the direction and supervision of the Curriculum and Data Director. The coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining a quality and comprehensive curriculum for grades K-12. The Coordinator ensures that the curriculum is aligned with Common Core Standards and provides support for teachers. This individual is also responsible for ensuring assessments align with the curriculum and measure student learning. The coordinator provides staff development for on-going effective implementation of the curriculum. This individual is part of a larger team that provides resources to teachers and administrators to drive instruction and lead to higher levels of student achievement.
Description:
  • Develop curriculum tied to Common Core Standards using backward planning.
  • Provide staff development to teachers and administrators on effectively implementing the curriculum.
  • Develop assessments that align with the curriculum and measure student learning.
  • Analyze data to determine additional supports needed.
  • Determine resources to assist teachers with implementing the curriculum.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree Required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Valid Colorado driver's license.
  • Colorado Teaching License.
  • Five or more years successful teaching or administrative experience.
  • Demonstrate advanced oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Demonstrate intermediate personal computer keyboarding and word processing skills (MS Office Suite to include Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint). Basic math and accounting skills.
  • Customer service and public relations skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrate Supervisory/Management skills.
  • Ability to manage confidentiality in all aspects of job, multiple priorities, and diffuse and manage volatile and stressful situations.
