for our school located at 3180 N Aurora Rd.
Our Food Specialists:
- Create home-style, nutritional meal plans in the boundaries of their school's budget, as well as state and federal requirements. Nutrutious, easy to follow menus are provided.
- Prepare and serve nutritious and delicious meals and snacks for children and staff.
- Wash dishes and maintain a clean, organized and sanitary kitchen.
- Maintain inventory of food and supplies and order more when needed.
- Are caring, compassionate and love what they do!
- Work experience in cooking and/or food preparation for multiple individuals, preferably in a school facility
- An understanding of all current state and local regulations; preferably Food Manager Certified per IDHS
- Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
