Develops and implements strategies to enhance substance use prevention and intervention services in schools; leads clinical activities for a team of substance abuse prevention specialists; provides regular communication and clinical meetings with individual staff, regular site visits, and regular program monitoring; systematically collects, analyzes, synthesizes, and interprets data and information needed to plan and integrate appropriate services for targeted school communities and inform policy.

Qualifications:
Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or nursing. Three years of clinical experience. Doctoral degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or nursing may substitute for one year of clinical experience. Experience in substance abuse treatment. Experience in the field of wellness, prevention and promotion working with community organizations, supervising staff, grant reporting, and data collection preferred. Licensure as a substance abuse counselor. Knowledge of family system theory, practice, procedures and community resources.Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations and policies. Ability to gain the confidence and cooperation of students, teachers, and parents. Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with other professionals within the diverse schools and community. Diagnostic skills, analytic ability, and adaptability to changing needs. Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting. Ability to write comprehensive reports. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
