    Description:
    Under gerneral supervison of the Grade 6 -12 Educational Extension Program Director, performs work of moderate difficutly, developing, planning, and coordinating middle school after-school enrichment programs.

    Essential Functions:

    Tasks:
    • Coordination of the middle school before and after school enrichment program.
    • Prepare, plan, and coordiante all aspects of a middle school after-school enrichment program.
    • Recruit and train instructors.
    • Organize and schedule classes fo rthe school year.
    • Coordinate physical resources.
    • Develop and implement student attendance tracking procedures.
    • Develop content for class brochures, and distribute completed brochures.
    • Accept and transmit fee payments and refunds.
    • Commnunicate with parents, staff, teachers, district, and school.
    Knowledge, Skills, and Other Characteristics:
    • Knowledge of approved CFSD middle school level curriculum.
    • Knowledge of middle school level educational program design.
    • Knowledge of CFSD policies and procedures regarding student program eligibility and registration.
    • Knowledge of recruiting and retaining coaches.
    • Skill in developing, implementing, and coordinating middle school level after school programs.
    • Skill in communicating effectively, orally and in writing.
    • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff, administrators, students, parents, and the general public.
    Minimum Required Qualifications:
    Supervisory experience, and strong leadership skills.
