Staff Accountant - SAU 20 Central Office
Under the direction of the Finance Manager and/or the Business Administrators, the position of Staff Account was established for the purpose of performing a variety of duties involved in the operation of the business services of the school districts of SAU 29; performing difficult fiscal accounting work in preparing, reviewing and maintaining financial and statistical records and reports; performing bookkeeper functions; serving as back-up for A/P; and other duties as assigned.
A Bachelor's Degree, with a minimum of two years accounting experience, knowledge of financial software and excellent Excel skills is required. Experience with governmental (non-profit) budgeting principles, laws, regulations, and/or procedures that apply to school district accounting and financial reporting preferred.
