Staff Needed: One (1) Physical Education/Health Teacher

• Hold New Jersey instructional certificates for Physical Education and Health in accordance with NJ state requirements.
• Knowledge of NJCCCS, the Common Core Standards, and mandated state testing.
• Experience working with elementary students.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of child growth and development.
• Have effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment, diagnosis and research related to learning.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the computer education areas.
• Have a vested interest in the awareness of the adolescent development of boys.
• Have a commitment to produce well rounded and lifelong learners.
• Knowledge of research based effective instructional strategies for engaging boys and resulting in student achievement.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with all stakeholders.
• Knowledge of assessment and data analysis for instructional purposes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity and good moral character.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing with students, staff, administration, and the community.
• Required to work extended day (4:10pm) and attend summer PD
