VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

POSITION: Eastern Middle School
Interim Principal
Anticipated One Year Assignment

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in an administrative and/or supervisory capacity preferred but not required

• Currently holds a Connecticut Intermediate Administration or Supervision certification (ENDORSEMENT 092)
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well with colleagues, faculty, students and the adult community
• Ability to inspire and lead
• Excellent understanding of differentiated instruction and educational best practices.

RESPONSIBLE TO: Deputy Superintendent

SALARY RANGE: $181,060

WORK PERIOD: Twelve month assignment (225 working days)
The nature of the position demands evening commitments.
