Brief Description:
This position provides training and support to schools and administrative offices for emergency management.

Detailed Description:
* Prepares, schedules, and conducts table-top emergency response plan training exercises for school and administrative staff
* Conducts security planning and crisis management seminars
* Initiates and enhances crisis planning
* Completes an in-depth review of assigned schools' Safety and Security Plans; communicates directly with school administration to provide recommended improvements
* Performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from high school and experience in emergency response planning and incident management;
or any combination of education and experience that would provide the following knowledge, abilities, and skills:
* Ability to manage inventory and parts control
* Working knowledge of conducting tabletop and functional exercises in accordance with HSEEP and FEMA/DHS guidelines to diverse audiences
* Possess FEMA certifications for IS-100.SC / IS-100.SCb: Introduction to the Incident Command System; IS-200: ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents; IS-700: NIMS, An Introduction; IS-800.b: National Response Framework, An Introduction; IS-362.a Multi-Hazard Emergency Planning for Schools; and IS-120.c: An introduction to Exercises
* Demonstrated ability to prepare and present relevant training
* Valid driver's license
