Qualifications:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in education, human resources, or school counseling, plus five years of progressively more responsible work experience in teaching, school counseling, and/or project management. Master's degree preferred. Knowledge of national, regional, and local practices related to working with English learners; knowledge of the FCPS organization, mission, rules, and regulations; ability to structure programs related to needs; ability to develop and maintain successful working relationships; ability to work independently and with teams; ability to establish positive rapport with individuals from diverse linguistic, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds; and ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Bilingual skills preferred.
