POSITION: Assistant Principal, Co-Athletic Director
LOCATION: Laramie Middle School
SALARY: This position will be paid on the administrator pay scale based upon experience and education.
CONTRACT: 205-day contract, Assistant Principal
START DATE: August, 2018

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must hold, or be eligible to hold, a certificate issued by the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board in school administration. Other qualifications include: successful experience as a teacher; experience as an effective instructional leader, ability to promote collaborative interactions with all stakeholders, focus results on improving student performance, and build positive relationships with students, staff, and community members.
Laramie Middle School's administrators will demonstrate the following qualities:
*Knowledge, experience, and implementation of Professional Learning Communities
*Demonstrated effective communication skills (listening, writing, speaking)
*Demonstrated collaboration and problem solving skills
*Demonstrated support and celebration for professional and classified personnel
*Knowledge and experience with school based budgeting
*Demonstrated ability to actively promote trust, respect, and professionalism
*Knowledge and experience with students with disabilities and diverse learners.
*Demonstrated results of improved student performance
*Demonstrated reflective learner with a growth mindset.
*Demonstrated skill of leading and managing change.
*Knowledge of technology and its uses for promoting student learning
