Brief Description:
The HR Systems Analyst is responsible for providing functional and technical support related to the software systems operated and utilized by the Department of Human Resources and Talent Development (HRTD).

Detailed Description:
The incumbent will be a subject matter expert on HRTD business processes and the technical tools used to execute them.
As an integral member of the HRMS unit, the incumbent will participate in team projects to enhance existing systems and business processes. Perform regular duties such as troubleshooting system errors; resolving trouble tickets, and providing customer support. Assist with developing new solutions to business needs, perform testing for system updates and patches.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Act as the initial point of contact for basic customer issues related to HRMS solutions.
* Assist in developing HRMS enhancements, detailing business requirements, and managing interfaces
* Provide end user assistance and training related to Human Resources Technology tools and business processes
* Collaborate with team members, vendors/providers, and information Technology teams to manage HRMS touch points with Laserfische, SmartFind, Phoenix, Active Directory, and Frontline systems.
* Provide prompt and courteous customer support; work with team members about project statuses and the resolution of system issues; perform appropriate follow up ensure progress on work items.
* Work periodic evenings and weekends to perform system testing during upgrades and patches
* Provide cross-functional backup support for related areas of the HRTD department as needed.

* Perform other duties as requested.

Job Requirements:
* Holds a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
* Experience with Oracle EBS Human Resource modules iRecruitment, HR Core, and Oracle Learning Management a plus.
* Demonstrated record of strong analytical and problem solving skills; detail oriented with the ability to prioritize work and accurately complete multiple tasks under minimal supervision and rigid time constraints.
* Self-motivated and directed; strong work ethic; and the ability to work independently or within a cross functional team in a fast paced environment.
* Genuine interest in customer care and developing proactive solutions to meet customer needs
* Effective organizational including written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)
