B TEAM FIELD HOCKEY COACH

Our Albert D. Lawton middle school is searching for B Team Field Hockey Coach or their spring 2018 season. We are looking for committed individuals who will be able to coach field hockey in a competitive and sportsmanlike manner. A minimum of two years of varsity level field hockey playing experience (or equivalent) required. Experience working with middle school students preferred. The position pays $1,972 for the season.

All coaches must be at least 18 years of age or a high school graduate at the commencement of the sport season for which the person has been appointed to coach. Candidates must also meet the certification and training requirements of the VPA, which requires certification in Sports First Aid and Fundamentals in Coaching within one year of hire. Acceptable certifications include ASEP (American Sport Education Program) certification or NFHS (National Federation of High Schools).
