Staff Needed: One (1) Supervisor of English Language Arts for Elementary Schools
Qualifications:

• Hold a New Jersey Supervisor's Certificate
• Hold a Master's Degree from an accredited University; Bachelor's Degree or advanced coursework in English Language Arts or English Language Arts Instruction, preferred
• Hold a Middle School English Language Arts Certification or K-12 English Language Arts Certification, preferred
• Bilingual/ESL Certificate, preferred
• Must have at least five (5) years' experience as a teacher of English Language Arts
• Must be experienced with Teacher Coaching
• Knowledgeable of the New Jersey Student Learning Standard for English Language Arts for grades K-12
• Knowledgeable of the assessment specification for PARCC as well as all Benchmark assessments
• Effective communicator who can provide training to English Language Arts teachers in instruction based on the New Jersey Student Learning Standard
• Successful implementation of English Language Arts curriculum
• Able to provide intervention strategies to improve both the teaching of English Language Arts as well as student performance
• Ability to interpret and assist classroom teachers with analysis of data
• Exceptional ability in working with other staff members to develop and plan instructional strategies in English Language Arts Instruction
