Technology Integration Specialist
FLSA Status: Exempt
Employment Term: 10 months
Job Goal: Key responsibility is to implement the school's mission to empower students as learners. To do this she or he must determine where each student stands in relation to the curriculum, assess the students learning potential, and match methods of instruction to the student's individual learning style in order to assist the student in making expeditious progress through the curriculum. In addition, the teacher is responsible for maintaining a well-managed, orderly, positive, classroom environment conducive to learning.
Essential Functions:
- Coordinates relationship between school curriculum and technology skills
- Exhibits outstanding knowledge of current and emerging technologies
- Assists with the use of educational applications
- Prepares and delivers rich lessons and interactive technology activities for students based on PA Academic Standards for Technology
- Supports students and staff with internet safety protocols
- Maintains inventory of technology
- Currently for grades 3-8
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's degree preferred
- One year of teaching experience preferred
- PA Certification
- Secure 3 background checks (PA State Criminal, PA Child Abuse, FBI Fingerprinting)
