QUALIFICATIONS:

Must possess the ability to work effectively with students, parents, colleagues and the general public.

Must be able to carry out responsibilities in a satisfactory manner.

Follow a plan of study which is consistent with the curriculum adopted by the school district.

Follow a program of study that, as much as possible, meets the individual needs, interests and abilities of students.

Follows written plans for each day's lessons.

Follows procedures needed to accomplish objectives for each lesson.

Follows meaningful assignments, including both guided and independent, to check for understanding of the objective.

Follow appropriate evaluation devices both to assess student learning and teaching effectiveness.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work would be primarily performed in a classroom environment, which typically includes moderate noise from students and computers. Work would occasionally performed outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

Your employment with the District would be at-will, meaning that either you or the District may end the employment relationship at any time, for any reason. Because neither an offer of employment nor your acceptance of the offer constitutes a contract or guarantee of employment, express or implied, your employment is not for any guaranteed period of time.

You would be employed with the District as a variable hour employee and would not be eligible to enroll in the Benefit Program with The School District of Waukesha. As a variable hour employee you would be subject to the look-back and stability period requirements under the Affordable Care Act for compliance purposes.
