PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Develop, solicit content, coordinate, and deliver staff training on multiple platforms. Utilize staff development or grant funding to provide in-service program support for professional development training activities for all employees.
EDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
REQUIRED:
' Master's Degree from an accredited educational institution.
' Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in education program planning, development, follow-up, and evaluation.
PREFERRED/DESIRED:
' Demonstrable knowledge of professional development programs and standards, with specific knowledge of Alternative Certification Programs, Gifted Add-on Certification, English for Speakers of Other Languages, and National Board for Professional Teaching Standards preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:
REQUIRED:
' Certified by the State of Florida in any core curriculum area at any instructional level.
' Valid Florida Driver License.
PREFERRED/DESIRED:
' Certified in Educational Leadership, Administration and Supervision or Administration by the State of Florida.
