1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university;
2. Qualify, at time of hire, for State of Delaware certification as Middle Level Mathematics Teacher (1532) or Secondary Mathematics Teacher (valid in a Middle Level school, grades 6 to 8) (1542);
3. Dual certification as a Special Education Teacher of Students with Disabilities (1571) strongly preferred;
4. Ability to effectively plan data-driven, standards-aligned and differentiated units, lessons and activities;
5. Believe strongly that all students can learn at high levels;
6. Demonstrate a level of knowledge and/or experience appropriate to the position;
7. Actively contribute to a culture of high expectations in both the school and district;
8. Favorable criminal background and child protection registry check for the candidate offered employment;
9. Tuberculin test;
10. Participation in Direct Deposit.

Salary Range: From/To: 1. Salary based on State and local salary schedule (10 month position) 2. Benefits in accordance with current Laurel Board policy 3. Acceptance of Priority School terms, conditions, and Memorandum of Understanding.
