POSITION: Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction
LOCATION: District
SALARY: Not less than $110,000
CONTRACT: 12 months
START DATE: July 1, 2018

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have a Master's Degree or higher and must hold, or be eligible to hold, a certificate issued by the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board with an endorsement as a superintendent, director, or principal. At least 5 years successful experience as a principal, or other curriculum related administrative/supervisory position, is required.

DESCRIPTION: This position reports directly to the superintendent and is responsible for the overall development, implementation, and supervision of educational programs in the district. Candidates should be skilled in developing procedures to obtain an optimum coordination and articulation in the instructional program as well as in organizing new programs and evaluating and reorganizing existing programs. This position is responsible for the following: establishing and directing a process to oversee horizontal and vertical alignment of curriculum, internal and external assessment programs, leading, coordinating, and supervising members of the district professional development team, overseeing the district accreditation process, ensuring uniformity of educational opportunities throughout the district, assisting teams of teachers in determining appropriate curriculum and curriculum support materials, overseeing the consolidated grant (both application and implementation) for the district, completing all applicable state reports related to the position, and assisting the superintendent with any other duties as assigned.
