Fuel Education (FuelEd) is dedicated to providing flexible, personalized pre-K to 12th grade online learning solutions.

The Fueleducation Inside Sales Representative functions as the hub of a dynamic sales team providing collaborative support to designated National Account Managers (NAM) working in the field while also building their own book of business. The Inside Sales Representative helps achieve shared revenue goals by acquiring new clients, servicing and maintaining relationships with existing clients, and providing overall administrative support to his/her Institutional Sales team including prioritizing lead generation lists, setting appointments, maintaining client data in Salesforce.com and proactively communicating in a thorough, accurate and timely manner with the NAMs, Manager of Inside Sales and Director of Inside Sales.

AS AN INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE, YOU WILL...
  • Utilize lead information to identify prospects and reach decision-makers with whom he/she develops effective, "world-class", consultative relationships;
  • Drive revenue by acting as field support to National Account Managers in the assigned territory and through achieving individual sales goals;
  • Perform a wide range of sales support activities including prioritizing leads to optimize sales, maintaining data within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, setting appointments, conducting product demonstrations and answering general questions throughout the sales process;
  • Ensure that clients clearly understand the features of the products they purchase including the placement and enrollment processes and any next steps beyond that; facilitates accounts receivable as appropriate;
  • Serve as a point of escalation for questions/issues that the client may encounter during product utilization; proactively communicates with all stakeholders as needed to successfully close sales and provide excellent service;
  • Build and maintains extensive Fueleducation product knowledge in order to effectively communicate benefits to prospects;
  • Build and maintains extensive knowledge of the education industry, trends, competitors and their products and proactively shares that information within the Inside Sales group;
  • Actively participates in and is receptive to continuing professional development activities including training, observations, coaching and mentoring;
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of corporate sales initiatives;
  • Adaptability/Flexibility: Adapts to change, is open to new ideas, takes on new responsibilities, handles pressure, and adjusts plans to meet changing needs.

Are you driven by excellence to deliver instruction, support and guidance, manage the learning process, and focus on students' individual needs? If selected, you will participate in a comprehensive new teacher training program for three weeks before the start of school. It is an opportunity to meet colleagues and learn the responsibilities required for delivering curriculum in an online environment. During this training you will also learn how to monitor student progress through K12's learning management system, and to be a partner actively working with students and parents to advance each child's learning. Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree AND
  • Three (3) years of direct client experience with in-depth knowledge of sales techniques AND
  • Five (5) years of experience in an inside sales office environment with strong phone selling skills OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Certificates and Licenses: None required.
  • Proven record of exceeding sales growth performance goals
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solutions oriented with strong follow-up
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - including presentation skills
  • Strong positive attitude and work ethic in an entrepreneurial work environment
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Ability to pass background check requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong interest in education industry; preferably K-12
  • Sense of humor highly desirable
