Qualifications:
  • Substitute Teacher
    • Must hold a NJ Teaching License or a NJ Substitute Teacher License.NJ Substitute Teacher License requires a minimum of 60 college credits.Salary: $100.00 per diem
    Substitute Nurse
    • Must hold a NJ Substitute Teacher License and NJ Registered Nurse License or a NJ School Nurse License.Must be AED and CPR Certified.Salary: $150.00 per diem
    Substitute Teacher Assistant
    • Must hold a NJ Substitute Teacher License.NJ Substitute Teacher License requires a minimum of 60 college credits.Salary: $85.00 per diem
    Substitute Secretary
    • Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.Must have two (2) years of relevant office experience.Salary: $80.00 per diem
    Ability to communicate effectively with students, and staff members, both verbally and in writing.Must be reliable and of good moral character.Must meet criminal background check.Must attend District Substitute Training on Wednesday, August 22 , 2018 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
    • Training is held at the Fort Lee High School Media Center located at 3000 Lemoine Avenue, Fort Lee, NJ 07024

Working Conditions: Called in on an as needed basis.
Application Procedure:
1. Apply Online/Download Substitute Packet with district paperwork. Link on website under the employment tab and attached to this posting.
2. Attend On Site Recruitment Event or contact the Human Resources Department to set up an appointment.
3. Applicant must upload a copy of fingerprinting clearance letter when complete.
4. Attend District Substitute Training.
5. Complete online training tutorials as assigned.
Effective September 1, 2011, all employees of school districts must reside in the State of New Jersey, unless exempted under law. If you already work for the school district as of September 1, 2011, and you do not live in New Jersey, you are not required to move to New Jersey. However, if you begin your office, position or employment on September 1, 2011 or later, you must reside in New Jersey. If you do not reside in New Jersey, you have one year after the date you take your office, position or employment to relocate your residence to New Jersey. If you do not do so, you are subject to removal from your office, position or employment.
