DESCRIPTION:
Intermediate District 287 is seeking a qualified candidate for a Literacy Specialist at the District Service Center. This class is accountable for providing supports to licensed teachers and non-licensed support staff. In addition, this position provides instruction and other educational support to 287 students (special needs and alternative learning centers) and assisting them in their academic and social development.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. A current teaching license, with the appropriate certifications, issued by the Minnesota Department of Education. Licensure and certification must relate directly to the instructional assignment.
