Are you interested in a teaching career that is more than just reading, writing and math? Come join our La Petite Academy staff where we are looking for multiple Assistant Teachers in the following classrooms: Infant, Two's and Preschool.
Our center is located on 5640 Chalkville Mountain Road in Birmingham.
In this role you will assist the leader of the classroom and will help create fun yet educational lesson plans as well as keep the classroom clean and organized. You will also be responsible for ensuring the daily care of our children which may include changing diapers, potty training, and cleaning up big messes made by little people. You will also need to communicate with parents on a regular basis to ensure the best care for their child. If you aren't afraid to be silly, get a little messy, and get lots of hugs... this job is for you!

We are looking for individuals who have:
- At least 1-2 years experience in a licensed childcare or daycare center
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Coursework or a degree in early childhood education or child development a plus!
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Long term goals in the early childhood field
