Primary Function: The main focus is to serve and address private school officials regarding provision of equitable services under Title I and Title II (including intent for all programs). Will monitor and fulfill requirements necessary for compliance with regards to equitable services under Title I and Title II (including intent for all programs)

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute processes and protocols for monitoring.
  • Manage process for yearly intent to participate for all programs.
  • Communicate with district program managers for private schools participating in all
    programs.
  • Obtain and submit yearly poverty data collected for the Consolidated Grant Application.
  • Schedule and actively participate in district Meaningful Consultations with participating
    private schools.
  • Represent the District in the New Castle County Consortium for Title I private schools.
  • Coordinate communication with Delaware Department of Education.
  • Function as district contact for equitable services.
  • Create positive ongoing communication with participating private schools and other
    private schools located in geographic feeder.
  • Determine allocations for participating private schools by using the Delaware
    Department of Education Equitable Share Calculators.
  • Resolve any concerns mentioned by participating private schools.
  • Inform participating private schools of allocations they will receive each year.
  • Intake, track and process student referrals for Title I Services and approve for services.
  • Develop and maintain clean process for Professional Development reimbursement
    requests.
  • Create yearly purchase orders for each participating school for Title II and one for the
    vendor for Title I services.
  • Review student rosters, monthly invoicing and Professional Development payment
    requests for accuracy.
  • Correspond with private schools regarding remaining allocations and stress importance
    of making timely expenditures to meet federal and state deadlines.
  • Annual self-review of documentation for compliance monitoring.
  • Prepare documents for 5 year monitoring and audit.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of administrative support experience in education field.
  • Knowledge of how to accurately and efficiently keep records.
  • Experiences with technology (ex: Google Applications)
  • Ability to coordinate and establish working relationship with others.
  • Ability to research and apply non-regulatory guidance and regulatory guidance to work.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to participating private schools. (This may require traveling to buildings for individual assistance.)
  • Knowledge of operating procedures for private schools.
  • Experience resolving conflicts and providing professional assistance and contructive feedback to others.
  • Working fairly and impartially across all programs.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills and provide a positive view on change and adaptation to new guidelines.
  • Knowledge of budgeting process and federal funding.
  • Ability to maintain a positive rapport in public relations.
