One full-time position.
Responsibilities: The Academic Instructional Coach will support and assist teachers by providing leadership in the implementation of district curriculum. The Coach will work closely with teachers and the principal to interpret data and help develop programs that directly relate to increasing student achievement. Provides support, mentoring, coaching for DLI teachers.
Qualifications: Elementary or Secondary Teaching License. Knowledge and experience in using the coaching process; facilitation skills; training and presentation skills; knowledge of effective staff development practices; ability to evaluate programs and report on effectiveness data; ability to meet multiple deadlines and to plan and coordinate the work of multiple groups of people; relentless drive to attain results proven experience and effectiveness improving student achievement in the classroom and/or school; strong communication and organizational skills; knowledge of adult learning; and passion for increased student and adult learning. Knowledge and experience in Dual Language Immersion standards, curriculum, and programs preferred.
Salary: Based on the 2018-2019 Licensed Salary Schedule $50,700 - $66,899 depending on related experience and Bachelor's or Master's Degree plus insurance and retirement benefits
