General Statement of Duties:
Works under the supervision of the School Principal with direction to provide education to students in the High School setting.
Specific Examples of Duties:
Plan and deliver effective instruction to students individually and in groups, using various teaching methods that provide students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate
Ability to collaborate with colleagues to improve the learning of all students
Positively engage various stakeholders in the school and community
Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among the students
Use data to adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests
Perform other related duties as required school and district leadership
Knowledge of:
Mechanical CAD
Engineering CAD 2D & 3D
Graphic Communication
Electronics
Construction
Qualifications:
Position requires appropriate Connecticut Certification/047 Technology Education, PK–12 or 098 Trade & Industrial Occupations – Comprehensive High School
Experience and ability to work with a diverse, multilingual and multicultural population
Excellent communication skills
Salary and Benefits: According to WTA Contract
