1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in education.
2. Qualify, at time of hire, for State of Delaware certification as a Music Teacher K-12.
3. Ability to effectively plan/execute a balanced music program and
organize class time so that preparation, rehearsal and instruction can be
accomplished within the allotted time.
4. Believe strongly that all students can learn at high levels.
5. Teaches skills in music understanding/appreciation, harmony, explorations in music and choral music to elementary students.
6. Applicant must demonstrate a level of knowledge and/or experience appropriate to the position.
7. Actively contribute to a culture of high expectations in both the school and district.
8. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
9. Favorable criminal background and child protection registry check for
the candidate offered employment.
10. Tuberculin test.
11. Participation in Direct Deposit.
