Work Schedule: 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday, July 9, 2018- Thursday, August 9,2018
DUTIES:
1. Responsible to Head Teacher, Special Education Teacher, and Special Education Supervisor
2. Provide instructional assistance, under the direction of the teacher, to a small group or individual student(s).
3. Responsible for providing clerical services such as preparing, duplicating, organizing, and distributing materials to children and other miscellaneous clerical tasks.
4. Assist in feeding during lunch and snack periods when needed.
Feed, diaper, and assist with personal hygiene as needed.
5. Perform additional duties assigned by the Head Teacher of this summer program.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Preference will be given to paraprofessionals presently working in the same program during the academic year.
2. Preference will be given to 1:1 paraprofessionals who currently work with a specific student in an extended year program to facilitate continuity of instruction and social/ emotional development.
3. Availability required for entire program work schedule.
