   License and Certification Qualifications: None required.

Education Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

Experience Qualifications: Three years in an office/clerical environment or equivalent acceptable experience required. Property management experience using an automated property inventory tracking system preferred.

Skills Qualifications: Ability to communicate with others in an effective and tactful manner; ability to be customer service oriented to internal and external customers and effectively present information to school system employees; ability to make mathematical calculations and complete computer data entry with speed and accuracy; ability to exercise independent judgment, troubleshoot, and solve problems; ability to multitask in a high-volume processing environment; ability to work as part of a team; ability to analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement; ability to be flexible and adaptable to change; ability to represent Gwinnett County Public Schools in a positive and professional manner; and strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Primary Responsibilities: Provide PeopleSoft Asset Management database and clerical support for the Property Management Office and assist schools and departments with the resolution of issues related to property asset inventories.

1. Provide support to the PeopleSoft Asset Management database software.
a. Enter asset profiles on requisition items for asset tagging and depreciation calculations.
b. Verify asset profiles on item setups initiated by the Purchasing team.
c . Verify assets added to Asset Management database on a daily basis including verification of item description, quantity, cost, location, manufacturer, model number, and serial numbers.
d. Review and update Asset Management database errors daily.
e. Verify and reconcile assets created through the receipt interface module including verification of all assets purchased for the replacement retrofit process and growth purchases of items.
f. Ensure retrofit purchase order receipts are processed on a timely basis and assets created as needed.
g. Verify and reconcile all asset transfers and disposals in the Asset Management database.
h. Enter all surplus items on a surplus manifest and item transfers on transfer manifest.

2. Assist with system reporting and analysis for the Property Management Office
a. Calculate Results-Based Evaluation System (RBES) scoring with physical inventory asset management information.
b. Reconcile physical inventory entries in the Asset Management database.
c. Verify asset disposals to the PeopleSoft General Ledger (GL) on a daily basis.

3. Assist with training and customer support for the Property Management Office
a. Train Asset Management database system users on reporting requirements of the receipts interface.
b. Train Asset Management database system users on reporting requirements of the mass transfer / surplus module in PeopleSoft.
c. Communicate item discrepancies to outside vendors to ensure accuracy of system asset management information.
d. Communicate item discrepancies with the Facilities and Operations Property warehouse, schools, and associated personnel.

4. Assist with new projects as assigned.

5. Perform other duties as assigned.
