    • Provide mental health services for students with disabilities to support student achievement.
    • Duties include assessing, writing treatment plans, counseling students, developing FBA’s and BIP’s, working on multidisciplinary teams, and coordinating services with general education.
    • Be able to relate assessment findings that focus on implications for teaching.
    Education and Licensure
    • Minimum Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
    • Holds a Colorado special services provider license or is currently eligible for one with the appropriate endorsement for this position
    • A completed Human Resources file including transcripts, student teaching verification, previous work experience
    • Acceptable Licenses
      • School Psychologist (ages birth thru 21)
    Endorsement Category School Psychologist Strategic Plan: The teacher shall identify the development needs of students, shall maintain a productive learning environment, and shall work collaboratively to support the priorities of the Strategic Plan.
    Condition of Employment: As a condition of employment, the individual selected for this position will be expected to complete the APS-sponsored Linguistically Diverse Educator (LDE) Certificate Program within the first three years of employment.

Position: Multi-Tiered Support Systems TOSA (Partner) Salary: See the teacher salary schedule at http://www.aps.k12.co.us/hr/teachsalary.html Days/Hours: Days: 187 day position Strategic Plan: The teacher shall engage as a Partner on one of five P-20 Learning Community Support Teams. The function of this role relates to supporting the implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS, along with consultation related to the implementation of specific programming related to the academic, social-emotional and behavioral success of every APS student. Job Description:
    • Initiate and sustain support for implementation of MTSS and related programming Engage in training and professional learning specifically related to the MTSS Partner function, enhancing the skills of school staff through training, coaching and ongoing reinforcement of learning experiences.
    • Engage as a full member of the assigned cross-functional Learning Community Support Team
    • Develop and sustain community partnerships that are supportive of student success through MTSS
    • Provide training for, support the implementation of and engage in data collection and consultation related to universal screening activities
    • Support the implementation of Restorative Justice and other intentional culture focused programming
    • Support the collection, engagement, analysis and communication for behavioral and academic data facilitating and training for the use of data-driven instructional and behavioral decision-making
    • Provide consultation
    • Apply knowledge and skills related to change management in support of program development
    • Serve as a resource
    • Participate in CDE trainings.
    • Plan and conduct professional development
    • Conduct yearly assessments
    • Engage in training and serve as trainer and implementation specialist for MTSS and specific, identified programming including but not limited to: MTSS, PBIS, Restorative Justice, others
    Job Qualifications:
    • Knowledge and experience with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Intentional School Culture programming, Positive Behavioral Supports and Interventions (PBIS), Benchmarks of Quality (BOQ), Response to Intervention (RTi), related intervention programs and data systems/documentation systems.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Flexibility
    • Strong facilitation skills.
    • Knowledge and experience with adult learning theory.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with site administration and school-based teams.
    Education and Licensure
    • Minimum Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or univeristy
    • Holds a Colorado teaching license or is currently eligible for one with the appropriate endorsement for this position
