Qualifications:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field, plus five years of progressively more responsible experience in accounting, budget analysis, or financial management. Master's degree preferred. Can demonstrate knowledge of the theory, methods, principles, and practices of accounting and general accepted accounting principals; ability to analyze, interpret, and evaluate financial and administrative data to develop and generate reports for fiscal decision making; familiarity with governmental financial automated systems; ability to effectively use automated financial systems; and ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
