    CLASSIFICATION : NONINST 04 ($18.59-$22.23 per hour)

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
    *English & Spanish language skills desired
    *High school diploma or equivalent
    *Evidence of high-level organizational skills and ability to successfully manage and coordinate a number of projects and tasks
    *Oral and written communication skills
    *Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English
    *Interpersonal relations skills
    *Strong organizational skills
    *Personal computer, keyboarding, and data management skills
    *Customer service and public relations skills
    *Ability to manage multiple priorities
    *Ability to promote and follow Board of Education policies and building and department procedures
    *Ability to communicate, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with people from diverse ethnic and educational backgrounds

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
    *Serve as an educational partner to prepare and inform secondary students and their parents of the necessary preparation for postsecondary workforce readiness, ICP, and college/university readiness. Sample activities:

    •Provide strategic support to implement the necessary systems and supports for Future Center and parent Academy for Student Success (PASS) Program
    •Plan and conduct student and parental training sessions concerning requirements for FAFSA, college application, or other postsecondary readiness topics
    •Collaborate with school counselors to promote student success
    •Experience working with students of diversity and other language speakers
    •Provide follow-up communications with families accessing PWR services
    •Maintain student records to promote student academic success and involvement in specialty and/or advanced programs provided in the District and with partner universities
    •Assist families to complete school/District forms and/or explain policies and procedures for graduation
    •Promote on-going, positive communication among families, educators, and District personnel
    •Offer after-school programs for parents intended to increase student success academically
    •Provide language access for school-based activities

    *Remain current on District policies, practices and procedures related to CLD community education development
    *Attend and contribute to regularly scheduled Student Service Meetings, Future Center School, and/or Community Liaison meetings
    *Work with Behavior Specialists, other liaisons, YESS Mentors, and community partners to provide substantial support for at-risk students and families
    *Perform other duties as assigned
