Montessori Substitute Teacher *

Cascade Summit Montessori is Hiring! We are currently seeking efficient, warm and friendly Substitute Teachersfor our school located at 3100 Parker Road.

Our Substitute Teachers:

• Are caring, compassionate and love what they do!
• Fill in for staff members in case if illness or absence, both planned and on-call.
• Ensure the care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.
• Communicate directly with parents and prospective parents when needed to achieve success for the child.
• Keep and maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Are rewarded with hugs from children and praise from parents every day.

We are most interested in talking to applicants that have:

• Experience working with children ages 18 months to 6 years in a licensed childcare facility
• Coursework or a degree in early childhood education or child development
• Enrollment in the Oregon Criminal Background Registry prior to employment
• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience
• Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work (scheduled and on-call)
• Must be at least 18 years of age
